Changing Things

I wish some things were different, for example the public education system. I feel at such a disadvantage when I hear of all the different gifted and talented programs that I never had.
Sadly I can't change a lot of things, for example, today I was making a collage in art, gluing articles and pictures I had cut out from magazines onto a board. I realized all too late I had glued on a giant sentence that covered two of my articles. I knew if I tried to remove the sentence on top of the articles, nothing would survive. No one will ever know exactly what those two articles say.
The only thing I can change about these common difficulties is my actions and attitude towards them(I probably also need to pay more attention to what I am doing instead of daydreaming about my non-existent boyfriend and social life :)).
Maybe it is good that I hear about the gifted and talented programs because it encourages me work harder to educate myself.
